Tour Features: It is a half day tour to stroll around to explore the Nijo-jo Castle, which is designated as one of the 17 component parts of the Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto and a world heritage site. The tour will let you familiarise with the feature of its architecture, gardens, history of the time along with Japanese Culture. Optionally if you choose to visit Nijo-jinya, used to be the Daimyo's lodgings with several Kara-kuri tricky structures (tricky settings to escape from the unexpected attacks), you may have an entirely different perspective regarding feudal lords of Japan. If you choose the Kyoto Imperial Palace, this is a part of the Kyoto Gyoen National Garden, you will be able to appreciate one of the most sophisticated and attractive Japanese gardens in Kyoto as well as to have the honor of seeing the Imperial thrones, TAKAMIKURA and MICHO-DAI, placed at the Shishin-den Hall. | ||||
