MITO: Walking tour of Kairakuen, samurai garden & Kodokan, school of Shogun clan in a castle town.

Tours by Location:  Samurai garden & their school in Mito city (Kanto/Ibaraki & vicinity)
Tour Features:
Mito City is a castle town of the Edo era's Shogun Tokugawa’s family located in the northeast of Tokyo.
In the early 19th century, the feudal lord of the Edo era built a tour-style Japanese garden with plums’ grove and bamboos' forest offering an admirable view upon a nearby lake.
In addition, he built a school, Kodokan for Samurais and commoners who would study and learn martial arts.
Let’s get away from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo and stroll through this castle town where historical
buildings remain, and discover the atmosphere of a Samurai's town.
