Tour Features: Many travellers leave Nara without visiting this interesting 'old town' area. What a pity! They don't know what they have missed. In Naramachi, you can visit old 'machi-ya' (or historic merchant townhouses) and lively local alleys full of interesting sights. Unfortunately, this area is not easy to see by yourself. That is why Yoshiko, who loves Naramachi, started this walking tour in 2006. She helps you explore Naramachi inside out, and takes you to the places foreign visitors often miss. | ||||
